Bartering:     

Bartering is based on the 2 aspects of Charisma: Appearance and Speech.

 

Appearance - : Determines how pleasing you are in the sight of another.

Speech ------- : Determines how well you socially converse with another.

 

Together, these two scores can aid a character with success in many instances.

 

During role-play, the player can lessen bonuses by ill-behavior, condescending behavior, pride, rage, anger, threats. Etc. Penalties can also be inflicted by such behavior, and will be soley to the discretion of the Game Master.

 

Bartering:

The higher your Charisma, the easier it will be to successfully bargain with others.

 

A %Roll of 91+ will always be favorable for the one trying to gain an upperhand, or the best deal possible.

 

Add +1 per point of APPEARANCE and SPEECH above 18.

 

Example: If I have an appearance of 23, and speech of 25, I would have +5 for my speech and +7 for my appearance. The total I would add to my %Roll when bartering would be +12.

 

Game Master: This is based on role-play. If a player is being condescending, you must adjust the bonus as you see fit. If the player is playing a confident and kind character, this bonus will be in full effect (+12 bonus).
